NIMIS

Dagen efter Louisiana gick vi på Nimis-jakt! Nimis är det omdebatterade strandvedsbygget som Lars Vilks har jobbat på i en herrans massa år. Jag trodde inte att det kunde vara så fantastiskt som det var och jag trodde inte heller att det kunde vara så svårt att hitta dit. Vi frågade och frågade och fick hela tiden olika svar, vi kollade på Google Maps och inte hjälpte det. Hur som helst till slut lyckades vi! Nimis är beläget på norrsidan av naturreservatet Kullaberg i Skåne. Man får ta bilen till en parkering, därifrån är det en tuff och brant (!) promenad på 45 min så det gäller att ha rejäla skor och gärna en god matsäck med. Från parkeringen finns det gula N här och var på träd som man följer. Se kartan nedan! När man äntligen kommer fram är det absolut värt besväret. Man klättrar in i en port som leder nedåt mot stranden i fantastiska gångar som här och var utvecklas till klätterlockande torn. Det är helgalet, vackert och underbart. Mina barn skulle älska detta men de måste nog bli minst 10 år för att orka!

LOUISIANA

This weekend I went to Helsingborg in Sweden. From there I travelled by ferry and train over to Humlebaek in Denmark, to visit Louisiana for the first time! Oh it was wonderful! And would have been even better if not for the icy cold windy weather. I didn't dare take a tour in the park around the museum and that was a shame because it looked absolutely lovely. All the more reason to go there soon again. Lots of art, lots of people and a very nice restaurant. The place was quite crowded despite the weather so I guess it must be really stuffed with visitors a nice summers day.... The Contemporary exhibition was by Tara Donovan and was much admired by the crowd though I rather think it was more design than art. There's a few photos below. The other exhibition was Pop art design and was fun but not exciting. Then Louisiana's collection was very nice to see with  artworks from 1945 and onward by artists like Per Kirkeby, Andy Warhol, Bacon, Giacometti, Asger Jorn and Gerhard Richter.

SPRING/SUMMER 2013

The spring is on it's way, at least here in Gothenburg Sweden and at Modéerska Huset! Most of the spring collection is online and the online shop has got a face-lift! Angry dogs fighting with smug cats, squirrels lost in love and space and a sulking bird in a fantastic fairytale forest.... this is the spring collection 2013 - it's all about feelings. Enjoy!

OKTOBER 5th

Ingrid: Helmet from Bell, dotted jacket from Zara (bought several seasons ago), dress with tulle frill and leggings from Modéerska Huset, wellies from Kavat  bike from Sportson and a favourite toy; a Monchhichi that's a gift from some friends!

Ella: Poncho that we found at our summer-place that I wore in the 70's, it's now Ellas favourite garment! The dress is a gift from a friend (really a vest for grownups...), tights from H&M and wellies from Bundaard.

SEPT 24th

On her way to school. Strawberry hat: knitted by grandma, melange knitted jumper from Cos, Dress from Modéerska Huset, Tights from H&M, legwarmers: knitted by another grandma, cute knitted mittens with sheep from somewhere in the Baltic states, Wellies from Bundaard.

AUG 14th

My kids always just put on whatever and sometimes it's quite funny! So I thought I might start taking pictures of them on our way to school and kindergarten.

Ella (5,5 years) sandals from Kavat and an old ballet-thing that I wore in the beginning of the 80's (my mum saved nearly all my and my brothers clothes!). Toy from LUCKYBOYSUNDAY.

Ingrid (soon 4 years old) old inherited sandals also from Kavat, skirt from Anive for the Minors, shirt from COS and a leopard toy from WWF.

CPH KIDS

Today is the last of three days at CPH Kids fair in Copenhagen. I'm exhibiting Modéerska Huset's spring/summer 2013 collection. I will soon let you all have a proper introduction to all the angry dogs, smug cats, cross birds and confused squirrels lost in both love and space, that crowd the collection.... As usual it's been a lovely fair, but right now I'm longing for my darling-monster-kids at home! 

AUKTION I TORP

This summer, as all summers before, me and my family went to an auction in the country side, held in a large old barn. It was crowded and lots of interesting articles for sale. Unfortunately it started to pour down even before half time so we decided to leave.... I did manage to buy a bunch of old wallpaper-rolls that I will use in my summer cottage, and my mother bought some very pretty old wooden jigsaw-puzzles.
