S/S 2012

Nu har jag hela vårens kollektion i min studio - tio tunga lådor. Nästa vecka ska kollektionen fotas av "min" underbara fotograf Johanna Hedborg och naturligtvis i samarbete med några tre fabulösa små barn! Under tiden har jag massor att göra: förbereda mässan i Köpenhamn i februari, packa om klädlådorna, skicka ut lådorna till återförsäljarna och lägga upp de nya artiklarna i Modéerska Husets internetbutik.
Äntligen hopp om värme och vår!

The spring collections is here at my studio now - ten heavy boxes. Next week the lovely photographer Johanna Hedborg will take studio pictures of the collection and obviously some three fabulous kids will partake! Meanwhile I have loads to do: preparing the fair in Copenhagen in February, repack the boxes, send the boxes to my retailers and add the new styles to Modéerska Huset's web shop.
Finally there's hope we'll have spring again!

LYCKENÄS - VECKA 4

Sista veckan på landet gick åt till förberedelser inför mässan CPH Kids och till att fota vår-/sommarproverna som ä n t l i g e n kom.... Jag hade ingen tur med vädret när jag skulle fota men tack vare min fina lilla modell blev det ändå skapligt resultat.

The last week at my summer place was spent with preparations for the fair at CPH Kids in Copenhagen and with taking pictures of the spring/summer samples that f i n a l l y arrived... I didn't have any luck with the weather but thanks to my dear little model the pictures still turned out ok.

HEJ NÄSTA VÅR!

Jag har också fått det allra första provet för våren/sommaren 2012. Tyvärr har de råkat spegelvända mönstret, vilket man ser på texten på huset, och färgerna är fel. Jag har kallat mönstret Little Country (Småland översatt till Engelska). Det är mitt allra käraste landskap för att min morfar föddes och växte upp där och för att jag tillbringat alla mina sommarlov där!

I've also received the very first sample for Spring/Summer 2012. Unfortunately they've accidentally mirrored the print, as can be seen on the writing on the house, and the colours are wrong. I've called the pattern Little Country (Småland) after the shire in Sweden that's most dear to me; it's where my granddad was born and were I've spent all my summer holidays!

CAMELLIA

Jag kunde inte låta bli att teckna av Kameliorna. Den här skissen kommer nog att dyka upp som ett print på något barnplagg framöver...

I couldn't resist making a sketch of some of the Camellias. This sketch will probably appear as a print on some children's clothes in the future...
