PRESSRELEASE

I dag har jag skickat iväg mitt allra första pressutskick. Jag fick lite hjälp av en kompis som är frilans journalist, så texten var det inget problem med, men bilderna var klurigare. Det går ju inte att maila om bilderna är för stora och det var inte lätt att välja ut fyra bilder av alla fina från höstkollektionen. Pirrigt att se om det blir någon respons. Helst skulle releasen såklart mailats ut för flera månader sen, men tyvärr blir det oftast inte riktigt som man tänkt sig.... Bättre sent än aldrig antar jag. Nedan är de bilderna jag valde att skicka med.

Today I've sent of my very first pressrelease. I had some help from a friend that works as a freelance journalist, so the text wasn't a problem. The pictures on the other hand was rather tricky. First to make the selection from all the lovely pictures of the A/W 11 collection, then to get them small enough to send easily in an email. I'm very excited to see if there'll be any responses. Preferable I should have sent it a few months ago, but most of the time things doesn't go exactly as planned.... Better late than never I suppose. Above are the pictures I chose to send.

STARRY SKY & CARNEVÀLE

Jag insåg idag när jag visade lite prover för en kompis att jag glömt lägga upp bilder på två jättefina provtryck som hör till hösten 2011. Det första mönstret heter Starry Sky och det andra Carnevàle. De är nog inte så roliga att trycka (för hand med silkscreens) eftersom de båda är i sex färger och väldigt detaljerade!

Earlier today as I was showing a few things for a friend I realized that I had two strike offs that I'd forgotten to show here. They are both due this autumn, the first is called Starry Sky and the second Carnevàle. These patterns are probably not much fun to print (screen printed by hand) as there's sex colours in each with lots of details!

HEJ HÖST!

De första tryckproverna för höst/vinter 2011 kom förra veckan. Så säg HEJ till Dora Mae, Rita Sue, Carnevále, Acorn, Fly Balloon och Starry Sky! En del av färgerna stämmer inte alltid men annars ser det fint ut.

Last week I got the first print samples for Autumn/Winter 2011. So say HI to Dora Mae, Rita Sue, Carnevále, Acorn, Fly Balloon och Starry Sky! Some of the colours are not quite right but otherwise it's looking good.
